Event Assistant – Guest & Camera Support (Freelance) Role overview

We’re now looking for a friendly, reliable Event Assistant to join us on a freelance basis.

The Role

This is a front-facing, trackside role combining customer interaction with practical responsibility working with our camera systems and equipment.

This is a fully in-person, on-site role at motorsport circuits across the UK. Remote or hybrid working is not available, and applicants must be able to attend events in person.

You’ll be responsible for:

Welcoming guests at check-in

Explaining the filming process clearly and professionally

Assisting with fitting and removing in-car cameras

Operating camera equipment

Monitoring recordings and battery levels, replacing batteries as needed

Managing SD cards and basic file handling

Advising prospective customers about our services and packages

Helping keep the event running smoothly and on time

Happy working outdoors and travelling to UK circuits

An interest in and knowledge of cars, motorsport, filming, or live events is a big advantage.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be able to demonstrate this upon request.

Pay & structure

Freelance independent contractor

Day rate per event (dependent on experience, discussed upon application)

Typical days 8–12 hours

Regular work available across the season
